Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to FlyPDF (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by an individual under the laws of the People's Republic of China. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our AI-powered PDF processing services, including document merging, splitting, compression, and AI-assisted PDF-to-Word conversion, available at flypdf.cc.cd (the “Service”).

By creating an account, subscribing to any plan, purchasing credits, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years of age; (b) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.

⚠️ Important: If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

2.1 What We Provide: FlyPDF provides an online PDF toolkit that allows users to merge, split, compress, convert, and reorganize PDF documents, including AI-assisted PDF-to-Word conversion. The Service is a digital software-as-a-service (SaaS) product delivered over the internet.

2.2 Nature of the Service: The Service is a digital, intangible product. Access is granted immediately upon payment confirmation. Due to the instant-delivery nature of digital services, refunds are subject to specific limitations described in Section 7.

2.3 Third-Party AI Model Dependency: Our PDF-to-Word conversion feature uses a third-party AI model provider (Alibaba Cloud / Qwen) to analyze document layout and extract content. Performance and availability of this feature may be affected by the operational status of this provider. Material disruptions will be communicated to users when reasonably possible.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation: Using the Service requires creating an account with a valid email address. We use passwordless, email-verification-code login — you are responsible for maintaining access to your registered email address, as it is used to verify your identity and is associated with all activity on your account.

  • • If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, contact us immediately at [email protected].
  • • Do not share your email verification codes with any third party.
  • • Ensure your registered email remains valid and accessible.

3.3 Business Accounts: If you register on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to this agreement.

4. Plans and Credits (Hybrid Billing Model)

We offer both subscription plans and one-time credit/pass packages:

  • • Subscription plans: Monthly Subscription and Yearly Subscription, offering unlimited use of all tools while active.
  • • One-time passes: Monthly Pass, Quarterly Pass, and Yearly Pass, offering unlimited use of all tools for a fixed period from purchase.
  • • Credit packs: A fixed number of uses (e.g., a 6-use trial pack) that do not expire and may be purchased multiple times.

5. Billing and Payment

5.1 Subscription Auto-Renewal Authorization: By subscribing to a paid subscription plan, you expressly authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for the applicable subscription fee. This recurring authorization remains in effect until you cancel in accordance with Section 6. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. For annual subscriptions, we will send a renewal reminder in advance where reasonably possible.

5.2 One-Time Purchase Authorization: Each purchase of a credit pack or one-time pass is a single, one-time transaction. By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge your payment method the amount shown at checkout.

5.3 Taxes: Unless otherwise stated, listed prices do not include applicable taxes. Where required by law, applicable taxes will be collected at checkout.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 How to Cancel a Subscription: You may cancel your subscription at any time by:

  • • Online (recommended): Through your Waffo Pancake customer portal (link provided in your purchase confirmation email)
  • • Email: Sending a cancellation request from your registered email to [email protected]

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6.2 Effect of Cancellation: Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period already paid for. No further charges will be made in subsequent billing periods. One-time passes and credit packs are not affected by subscription cancellation and remain valid per their original terms.

7. Refund Policy

7.1 General Policy: Due to the intangible, instant-delivery nature of our digital services, fees are generally non-refundable, subject to the exceptions below.

7.2 Subscription Refunds: First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of their first charge, provided usage has not exceeded a reasonable threshold of the plan's typical use. Duplicate charges caused by a billing error are refunded in full. For extended service disruptions caused by us (exceeding 72 hours), we will provide a prorated refund or service extension. Statutory rights to a refund granted by applicable law are preserved.

7.3 One-Time Pass / Credit Pack Refunds: If a one-time pass or credit pack has not been used within 7 days of purchase, you may request a full refund. Consumed credits or already-used passes are generally non-refundable.

7.4 How to Request a Refund: Send refund requests to [email protected] with your account email, transaction ID, and reason for the request. We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days.

7.5 Non-Refundable Items: Already-used subscription periods (except as described in 7.2), consumed credits or already-used passes (except as described in 7.3), accounts terminated for violation of these Terms.

8. Billing Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please email [email protected] before initiating a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

9. AI Content and Intellectual Property

9.1 Output Ownership: Subject to these Terms, documents and content generated from your input using our AI-assisted PDF-to-Word conversion (“Output”) belong to you.

9.2 Input Content License: When you upload a document to the Service (“Input”), you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that Input solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your Input to train AI models without your explicit consent.

9.3 Third-Party AI Model Dependency: Our PDF-to-Word feature uses a third-party AI model provider (Alibaba Cloud / Qwen). Output may be influenced by this provider's models. We do not guarantee specific output quality and are not responsible for content generated by the third-party model.

9.4 Accuracy of AI Output: AI-assisted conversion may contain errors or inaccuracies, particularly for complex layouts, tables, or images. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying converted documents before relying on them.

10. Acceptable Use Policy

10.1 Permitted Use: You may only use the Service for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms, such as personal or business document processing.

10.2 Prohibited Uses: You agree not to use the Service to:

  • • Process, generate, or distribute illegal, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent content.
  • • Upload documents containing content that sexualizes minors or otherwise violates child protection laws.
  • • Upload malware, phishing content, or tools intended to attack computer systems.
  • • Infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • • Circumvent or interfere with the security features of the Service.
  • • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our prior written approval.
  • • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or card network rule.

10.3 AI-Specific Restrictions: In addition to the above, you agree not to: use inputs, outputs, or any derived data from the Service to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or otherwise develop any AI or machine learning model that competes, directly or indirectly, with the Service; systematically scrape or bulk-extract Service outputs for purposes beyond your own authorized use.

11. Data, Privacy, and Security

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, available at flypdf.cc.cd/privacy. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, Waffo Pancake, and is never stored on our servers. Account data is retained for 90 days after account cancellation, after which it is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

12.1 Disclaimer: The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of AI-assisted output.

12.2 ⚠️ AI-Generated Content Disclaimer: Output from our AI-assisted PDF-to-Word conversion may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contain formatting errors, especially for complex documents. Do not rely on AI-converted output for legal, medical, financial, or other professional purposes without independent verification. Always review converted documents before use.

12.3 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FlyPDF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Term and Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these Terms, engage in suspected fraudulent activity, or as required by law. If we terminate the Service for reasons other than your breach, we will provide a prorated refund of any prepaid, unused amounts. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Before initiating formal proceedings, please contact [email protected] to attempt an informal resolution.

15. General Provisions

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FlyPDF.
